Colour Fun Run
We were so happy to be asked to be part of the Colour Fun Run Profiles.
The 5k run/walk took place on Saturday, September 7, 2013 in London, Ontario.
The Colour Fun Run helps Childreach help parents in London be the best they can be!
Here’s how it worked: everyone started off clean and bright white … but as you
reach each kilometre marker you encounter a colour explosion… so at the end
you look like a bag of Skittles! Sounds pretty awesome right? Not only is this
the most colourful race to be held in London – it’s also for a good cause as all
proceeds support Childreach in helping parents be the best they can be.
Childreach was founded in 1975 by Dr. John McKim, a London pediatrician.
In 1997, Childreach and the Early Childhood Education Resource Centre joined
together to create an Early Childhood Development and Parenting Centre
that serves the residents of London and childcare programs in the
surrounding five counties. Childreach is governed by a volunteer
board of directors representing the community.
Our services are publicly funded.
