Hal rollerblading for the firs time Feb ’89 San Diego

Part of filming BodyBreak is location scouting for a show. Here I am in February 1989 rollerblading for the first time at Mission Bay in San Diego, California. As you can see, no safety equipment back then. However, I paid for it by the end of the day with a huge “raspberry” on my hip and thigh and scraped knees and hands. The goal this day was to find places where we could film around the palm trees to make it look more like Canada. In fact, many people commented about our “Vancouver” rollerblading show. Our cameraman always came through for us.
